SODIUM BICARBONATE IN THE KITCHEN

Clean your Kitchen utensils

Soak your pots and pans in hot water and add a spoonful of Bicarbonate of Soda for 15 minutes to easily clean any food residue.

Pipe cleaning

Add 4 spoonful’s of Bicarbonate of Soda in the drainage and 100ml of liquid Citric Acid. Let it bubble for 15 minutes and then rinse with hot water.

Silver cleaning

To polish silver without the use of toxic products, fill your kitchen sink with hot water, add a piece of silver foil, and a spoonful of Bicarbonate of Soda. Dip in your silver pieces until they’re perfectly clean.

Microwave cleaning

For easy microwave cleaning, just sprinkle  Bicarbonate of Soda on to a wet sponge, rub it inside and outside of the microwave, and rinse with water.

Oven cleaning

To clean your oven, sprinkle some water inside the oven and cover the surface with some spoonful’s of Bicarbonate of Soda. Close the cover and leave it during the night. If after that time there are stains remaining, clean with a wet towels and some washing up liquid.

Removing any grease in kitchens and stoves isn’t a hard task, however you have to be careful, as it’s one of the most delicate zones in the kitchen. To clean them, mix a spoonful of NortemBio Bicarbonate of Soda with some Citric Acid. Apply the mix to the stove with a paper towel. If there’s any hard residue, use a scraper. To clean coffee or/and tea utensils, as well getting rid of any remaining odour, use ¼ of a cup of Bicarbonate of Soda in 1L of hot water, and place in the mixture during the night. Next morning, if there are stains remaining, rub with a wet sponge and a bit of Bicarbonate of Soda.

To clean and kill bad odours on wooden tables, sprinkle a little spoonful of Bicarbonate of Soda on the wet wooden table, and leave it for a couple of hours until it dries. Then shake off the powder and use as normal.

Fighting little fires on gas stoves

Any grease residue on stoves, grills or ovens could trigger a little fire. To help out with these, sprinkle Sodium Bicarbonate on the flames.

Clean and eliminate any stain on painted furniture with a wet sponge and a bit of Sodium Bicarbonate. Rub slightly and clean with a dry towel.
